Volvo ACC Concept - 2000

Adventurous Concept Car

Volvo began the new millennium in January 2000 by showing the ACC at the Geneva Motor Show. It was on display as a foretaste of Volvo's imminent SUV - the XC90. It was a "thermometer" that aroused great attention and which gave a positive feeling that Volvo's real SUV would be a success.

The ACC has the driving characteristics of an ordinary car, first-class protection for all the occupants, a powerful, highly economical engine, low emissions and ample interior space. Add to this an "adventurous" appearance plus equipment that includes fridge, television and world class in-car entertainment system.
