Estimated : € 90.000 - 110.000
Sold for € 109.250
Announced in 1985, the Ferrari 328 represented the final incarnation of Maranello’s transverse mid-mounted Dino V-8. Updated to reflect advances in aerodynamics, the Leonardo Fioravanti-penned bodywork—styled by Pininfarina and built by Carrozzeria Scaglietti—offered a modern and attractive interpretation of the 308 platform, with the added benefit of increased performance from an enlarged 3.2-litre V-8 and a five-speed manual gearbox.
Delivered new to Autoexpo GmbH, this 328 GTS was first registered on 1 July 1988. The car is understood to have later left Germany, before being reimported in 2015. In 2017, the Ferrari was purchased by the consigning owner, who commissioned an inspection and service in April that year by Ferrari of Madrid, at a cost of €7,300. Further services carried out by the same dealership are documented in the history file, in addition to the installation of a Blaupunkt SQR DAB radio, which cost €555. Such is the condition of this 328 GTS, that the consignor regularly enjoys his morning commute to the tune of the V-8 engine, driving through the streets of Madrid.
Representing the final evolution of the Dino V-8, this attractively specified 328 GTS presents an opportunity to acquire a well preserved example, in the classic Ferrari colour combination of Rosso Corsa over a Nero interior.
