Estimated : € 60.000 - 80.000
Sold for € 109.250
Built as a U.S.-specification example, this Testarossa was completed by Ferrari in November of 1987 and finished in Nero paintwork over a matching Nero interior. As evidenced by its original window sticker, the car was shipped from Maranello to Los Angeles and placed on a truck destined for Grand Prix Motors in Seattle, Washington. Its first owner was George Heiser of Seattle, and he took delivery of his new Ferrari on 14 March 1988.
Heiser retained his Testarossa until at least 1995, when it was purchased by Keith R Beneson of Kent, Washington. The car remained with him for nearly twenty years, travelling just 5,949 miles from new. Purchased by the current owner in 2015, the Testarossa was exported to the UK, where it has remained ever since.
In July of 2016, the car received an engine-out service, which included replacing the cambelts. Since then, the car has been driven less than fifty miles, and it remains in excellent condition inside and out. In addition to the aforementioned original window sticker, the car is offered with its original owner’s manuals (including the original service manual), toolkit, jack, and a six-piece Schedoni luggage set.
