Lamborghini 4000 GT Flying Star II - 1966

Coachwork by Carrozzeria Touring

 

This one-off prototype was displayed on the stand of Carrozzeria Touring at the 1966 Turin Motor Show, and was sold at the show to Jacques Quoirez, the brother of novelist Françoise Sagan. It has all-aluminium bodywork and is built on a shortened 350GT chassis but has a 400GT engine. Always registered in France, it has been in its current ownership for over 32 years.
