Engineer Dante Giacosa held the reins of the Italian car industry firmly in his grasp, the destiny of the country one could say ! In addition to the best-selling Fiats he also designed the 8V. It was a vanity project for him and for its few buyers. Only 114 of the 8V-engined cars with four-wheel independent suspension were built. The Zagato are perhaps the most beautiful.
