Korres Prototype 1
2000 - 2003
Prototype 1 is an experimental vehicle and was constructed in a small workshop to test the Korres interconnecting wheel suspension design, in combination with 4WD ab four wheel steering. The goal was high off road comfort and grip whilst traveling at high speeds. It features a very low chassis providing a platform for a variety of passenger compartment usages on top of it. It took 2 year to complete. After testing Prototype 1 for 6 months, the exceptional performance of the suspension was clear to see, but rear wheel steering was unnecessary. All these and a string of other conclusions were used in the research and the construction of Prototype 2.
