Separatist AAM E4N.22 "Ern" Mulitrole Maritime Helicopter

To save costs on designing and manufacturing different helps for different roles, the Separatist Army mass produced the Kestrel Light Utility Helicopter and modified them for individual purposes. E4N.22 "Ern" was the designation for AAM's Mulitrole Maritime Helicopter and featured some of the same maritime instruments and sonar/radar arrays as the Coast Guard Kingfisher Recovery Helicopter, in addition to other classified nautical avionics. The main things that set the Ern apart from other helos in the Separatist arsenal were it's folding tail section and rotors and telescoping boom antenna; decreasing the helo's footprint. Able to deploy aboard any air-capable frigate, destroyer, cruiser, fast combat support ship, amphibious assault ship, or aircraft carrier, the Ern could handle anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare (ASUW), naval special warfare (NSW) insertion, search and rescue (SAR), combat search and rescue (CSAR), vertical replenishment (VERTREP), and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC). To better perform rescue and recovery missions, the Ern was equipped with a 900 lbf rescue hoist over the starboard side door. It could also carry an additional 110 gallon external fuel tank and be refueled while flying. The Ern was Kestrel-based so it could carry any of the interchangeable assault or support packages other Kestrels carried (OVERWATCH or ONSLAUGHT, for example). This variant is shown in a two tone gray camouflage.
