Robert Capa, pseudonimo di Endre Ernő Friedmann (Budapest, 22 ottobre 1913 – Tay Ninh, 25 maggio 1954), è stato un fotografo ungherese naturalizzato statunitense.
I suoi reportage rendono testimonianza di cinque diversi conflitti bellici: la guerra civile spagnola (1936-1939), la seconda guerra sino-giapponese (che seguì nel 1938), la seconda guerra mondiale (1941-1945), la guerra arabo-israeliana (1948) e la prima guerra d'Indocina (1954).
Capa documentò inoltre lo svolgersi della seconda guerra mondiale a Londra, nel Nordafrica e in Italia, ed in particolare lo sbarco in Normandia dell'esercito alleato e la liberazione di Parigi. Il fratello minore di Capa, Cornell, è stato anch'egli un fotografo.
È stato il compagno della fotografa Gerda Taro.

Robert Capa, pseudonym of Endre Ernő Friedmann (Budapest, October 22, 1913 - Tay Ninh, May 25, 1954), was a Hungarian naturalized American photographer.
His reports bear witness to five different war conflicts: the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), the Second Sino-Japanese War (which followed in 1938), the Second World War (1941-1945), the Arab-Israeli War ( 1948) and the First Indochina War (1954).
Capa also documented the unfolding of the Second World War in London, North Africa and Italy, and in particular the landing in Normandy of the allied army and the liberation of Paris. Capa's younger brother, Cornell, was also a photographer.
He was the companion of the photographer Gerda Taro.
