Mr. Cup of Fail
Kashyyyk Battle Packs
This is a fan concept battle pack.
Two packs that can go well together in the same wave, rather than having two packs not complementing each other. The two packs will be great for those who look to recreate the battle of Kashyyyk.
As there has already been a ‘Kashyyyk Clone Trooper Pack’; the droids could do, as there has been Kashyyyk Droids introduced. Though there is a good year gape since that pack, a Kashyyyk Droid pack and Wookiee pack would be new and the wookiee pack could bring in new different looking wookiees to someone’s LEGO Star Wars Universe.
--------
Kashyyyk Battle Droids
Target Price: $15
Minifigure: 6 (4 B1 Battle Droid & 2 B2 Super Battle Droid)
Pieces: 113-117 (Droid 23-27 pcs / STAP 25 pcs / 20 Stud Shooter and Stud pieces / 28 tree / 17 turret & cover)
With the battle droids having no printings besides for the head, two or three more droids would be added, either being B1 Battle Droids or B2 Super Battle Droids.
It been since 2014 that we last saw a STAP, so I thought it would be fitting to have that as the vehicle for this pack, and giving it a new updated look.
I knew right away what pieces I wanted to use for the body of the STAP, with the beast giving off a smooth shape like the slopes. The head I didn’t see the ones LEGO used (30602 & 44675), so I just used the normal curved slope but the inverted one to make a strong connection, as the connection was angel 1 technic connector. Obviously the play gimmick would be the stud shooter, at least if you don’t want them on, you can easily take them without modding the STAP.
Now for the other model (as the STAP wasn’t enough to have a $15 price tag) I didn’t want it to be a droid carrier like the first droid battle pack. So I picked a turret and tree with container holding the ammo. The two was gonna be together and pretty much based on the Endor pack (9479), but decided to have the two to be separated model, so you would be getting 3 models with your droids.
The cover for the turret the base from the Clone Scout Walker (75261) but with some small changes to it of it being SNOT, having a crossbow stud shooter and have some smooth slop to make it look like some damage effect.
--------
Wookies
Target Price: $15
Minifigure: 4 (2 with Chief Tarfful body but recolored, 2 without armor)
Pieces: 103 (Minifigs 12 pcs / Speeder 42 pcs / stud shooter & ammo 19 pcs / tueet 30 pcs)
With the vehicle, I based it off of the HummBike from Galactic Battlegrounds, from the looks of the pixel, it was likely this speeder needed a transparent stand to stay up straight (tried to make it without it but failed), a crossbow was used for the shooting gimmick sense sense the other shooter would fire in angel plus the other 3 of the wookiees are having crossbow anyways.
Looking like there is a need for another model to try to get it to look $15, a turret was also made for this, as the wookies wouldn’t be having any torso printing (the actual minifig torso, not the head torso), I think it would be allowed for it to be a bit bigger but not of that as the droids pack.
Like the droids with the cover, this one is based on the gun part but having a different cover and shooting gimmick, with the Aaron’s mixel shooter helped with getting the connection.
