Fisk Generating Station
A generating coal power plant that began in 1903. From 2010 to 2012, the plant's fate was uncertain but it has recently shut down. I thought it was important to share this picture because I recently learned there are activist groups in the area that are trying to get the city to get more involved in getting the air cleaner here. There are sites that are contaminated and continue to contaminate the air. This is a story idea I would like to follow up on.
