Ready To Rut

We drove past the deer at Ilam yesterday and stopped for a while. The stag was ready to rut and was spending all his time rolling in the dirt, then chasing the females, none of who were interested in the slightest. He had several good bellows at us and I don't think he was impressed that we were there, or by Mart impersonating his bellows, to get him to look our way.
