Having sat behind a tamper from Acton Bridge, EWS livery 90039 approaches Acton Grange Jn at an unusually sedate pace working 3P51 from Crewe CS - Blackpool North on a training run for Grand Central. 20/3/20
Having just missed it on Monday by a matter of seconds, I was very pleased when the sun emerged just in the nick of time. With both shots of the morning being very tight on getting the light, I think I've used my luck up for the foreseeable!
