grand opening Mesa Grande Cultural Park Mesa, Arizona

The Mesa Grande Cultural Park has opened in suburban Mesa, Arizona. It is an important archeological site of the Hohokam people and consists of burial mounds and the site of a city . It is an historical joint venture between the Arizona Museum of Natural History and the City of Mesa. The preservation and establishment of this park took over thirty years to come to fruition. An important archeological site will now be preserved and studied for generations to come.
