The lone piece of feather

I spotted this at the beach yesterday while looking for seashells. It kind of fascinated me, so I thought of taking several snapshots. The idea of composing it just instantly clicked. Husband was watching my reaction the whole time and couldn't understand why I was excited with just a piece of feather. When asked, I just simply replied " I don't know. It's probably because you're from Mars and I'm from Venus, Honey. " :) Not everything in life we have the answer for....
