string quilt blocks

I owe a big thank you to 'filminthefridge' for posting a fantastic string quilt, and then posting a fabulous tutorial on her blog- she is my quilt idol, seriously the girl makes some killer quilts :)

these are my first 4- and I am only using my scraps for this quilt!!!
