66025 with diverted 4O30 at Portchester 25/7/20
DBC EWS liveried 66025 approaches Portchester station (in a lucky patch of sun) with the diverted 4O30 VAR 15:41 Morris Cowley M.A.T. to Southampton Eastern Docks loaded car train on the 25th July 2020. The train was loaded with brand new BMW Minis for export and was diverted via Reading, North Camp, the Portsmouth Direct Line and the Fareham to Southampton line due to engineering work at Eastleigh. Another rather late notice engineering blockade was put in by Network Rail so they could install the second set of new points at Eastleigh (the points connecting Platform 3 to the Down Fast line) after they were removed back in February due to the damage caused by the derailment of 70001 on 4O05 at the end of January.
