Spectacular Wave

The powerful wave action of the Pacific Ocean at Depoe Bay is so spectacular. When the big ones crash the sound is like thunder and a large splash of water can reach the road. Caution not to get close to them is best for safety. Here at Depoe Bay a young man lost his life a couple years ago when he was swept into the sea, his body was not recovered.
