Dunstanbourgh Castle looking moody. I never seem to get a sunrise at this location, so must try harder. The tide was a little further out than I had expected too, so a portrait of rock rather than wave. Northumberland, or the land north of the Humber, should really be called coast of the slippy rock! How did the Vikings invade this stretch of coast? Did they have supper footwear?
