Feedback Loop

The growth in variety of magazines for every hobby is an example of a positive feedback loop. As more people become interested in a certain hobby, they tend to integrate themselves in a particular sub-culture. Thus, to effectively continue to reach particular audiences, magazines multiply and become more specialized and geared towards a more specific sub-group.
