Clark Weber, Sr. Director of Product Marketing, Fitness and Wearable Technology Products, MiTAC Digital Corp/Magellan GPS, believes that consumers want wearables to make data accessible but not a distraction from the core sports experience. Magellan plans to integrate trail maps into future smart watch products so hikers won't need to stop to study their GPS.
