Tobacco budworm caterpillar, I believe.

My neighbor notified me of a pink caterpillar, of which I had never seen. Well, perusing the internet, I've deduced this as a tobacco budworm, somewhat of a 'pest' (to a produce grower) and takes on the color of what it chews on, in this case, verbena, a purplish-pink flower, and here we are!
