Melting snowflake.
The snow fell all day, but the air temperature was just above freezing, and since my wool-like mitten was not holding the not-so-beautiful flakes (they were melting quickly), I chose to shoot the reflections from the tri-colored LED flashlight on the water of melting snow forming on the boulder that this mitten laid. The snow was falling in clusters and little did I know, one of these clusters fell in the narrow field of focus of this colored water pattern I was shooting. These flakes were melting almost instantly, but I did catch the top end of a flake(s) before it transformed into water (left side of the picture).
