Ready to Roll
Prairie Mines and Royalty SD32ECO idles outside the coal loading site at the Coronach coal Mine. Sherrit Coal owns a majority stake in PM&R. Former ONR SD40-2 1731, this unit recently was upgraded. Too bad she lost her marker lights though. The train slowly creeps under the loading site, where coal is loaded onto the cars. The train then runs 20 min to Sask Power's Poplar River power plant, where the train slowly crosses a trestle that collects the coal.
