Tree swallows . . . . .Hilltop Acres #4
A sure sign that the transition to Spring has finally come. I spent several hours with these fellows yesterday and managed to get some fairly decent flight shots. But I think I will post them separately over the next day or so . The day was quite breezy and some of their hovering and aerial maneuvers were absolutely amazing. They would do fly-bys that came so close, I could hear the whirr of their wings and I thought they were going to snatch my hat off.
