T'Vet

This is T’Vet. Along with T’Mol-kom, she was my first mouse. She passed away just a little while ago after living two and a half years. This photo was taken when she was experiencing neurological distress as a rare side effect of her medication. I had to hold her body still while she would eat only soft oatmeal off of my finger, and had to monitor her for seizures. Most of the time, when her body was finally at rest, she would simply lay in my hand, and I would do all I could to comfort her. She did recover after this, however, and lived for a few more months without any medical problems.
