English Translation of My Article (An excerpt)

-----

As a main character, I chose trumpet narucissus which were in bloom under the sakura in Waniduka. There were few people who took care of the narucissuses under the gorgeous and heroic sakura. Nevertheless, I noticed those flowers as bigger than I imagined the size of them when I looked at closely.

“Please watch me carefully. Not only sakura, I am also here.” A narucissus appeals the existence I think.

The word ‘narucissus’ in English is the same as a beautiful boy’s name appeared in the ancient Greek mythology. The story is that a boy named Narucissus loves his reflection on a pond. Thus, the laguages of flowers ‘egotism’ and ‘unrequited love’ might be led through the story.

I believe that the ancient Greeks must have loved the flower of narucissus as well as Japanese loves sakura. Even though the appearances for each flowers are different each other, those flowers are both beautiful, aren’t they?
