Paulin Residence

This "L" shaped residence was set low on the property for sound privacy from Sunset Boulevard. The design follows in the footsteps of the great Montecito homes of George Washington Smith. Groin vaults, balconies, covered porches all harken back to the an era where simple, logical, and understated detailing combine to create a family home that creates a suite for the kids, a separate peace for the parents, and family gathering area. An Italian hillside garden leads guests to the motor court and entry, and a shady, romantic pool and loggia highlite the rear yard.
