Galaxy Girls continues.
In temporary, emergency command of the IRC Agatha Christie, Captain Debris Jetsam has caught up to her ship, the Frigus Iustitia, which her second in command, Major Scrumptious Sky stole from Stonehenge Spacefort, and piloted to the distant IRC outpost, Septem Caelum, only to discover that her Aquarian friend is under the mental control of a self-described Tech Mentalist named Koe Ghitatio from the planet, Vhipernhal.
Koe has revealed that, due to a catosptophic event that is killing everyone of their planet, their king wants to use the Plicare experiment to move the entire planet of Vhipernhal to a safe location.
Quartermaster DeiPhi Ngravity: You can't move an entire planet! (to the holo image of Major Scrumptious Sky)
Major Scrumptious Sky/Koe Ghitatio: The collective of scientists would tend to disagree with you, Quartermaster. (looks at Debris) We are desperate, Captain. And our king is ... committed to the survival of our people.
Capt. Debris Jetsam: You mean that he's willing to kill anyone that gets in his way.
MSS-KG: Princess Durus believes her father's mind is being affected by the interstellar disease sweeping our planet. He has changed from a kind, and understanding ruler, to a merciless tyrant. But his desire to save his people remains, even if it has become an obsession.
CDL: He could have come to us for help. Asked for our technology rather than kidnapping our citizens, killing them.
MSS-KG: Dr. Litefful killed herself, Captain. No one else hase died ... yet.
Chief Medical Officer Lance Boyle: Yet?
MSS-KG: Yes, Doc. I fear that King Durus will do whatever it takes to secure the cooperation of the scientists he captured. We must go to Vhipernhal. We must offer King Durus what he needs to save us.
QDPN: You attack the IRC then expect us to help you?
MSS-KG: Would you have helped us if we'd come to you openly?
CDL: I'm sure we would have. The IRC isn't in the habit of allowing entire civilizations to perish, if something can be done to help.
MSS-KG: Then, what difference does it make?
QDPN: You have attacked citizens of the IRC! Your behavior could be construed as an act of war!
MSS-KG: It was the act of one seriously ill man, Quartermaster. Princess Durus, at great risk to her own life, is trying to prevent escalation. Would you condemn us all to war for the misguided efforts of a sick man, bent on saving his world?
CDL: (rising from the command chair) No, we would not. Let's try to save your world, Koe. Send your coordinates to our pilot.
MSS-KG: (smiles) Perhaps we can become friends, Pips.
CDL: Don't push your luck. (resumes her seat) Quartermaster, set course for Vhipernhal, under my personal responsibility.
QDPN: I hope you know what you're doing.
CDL: There's a first time for everything. (gives QDPN a wry smile)
