The Mangera Yvars designed Faculty of Islamic Studies, in Education City, is a stunning example of the synergy of art, culture and architecture. The premise is the Islamic Kulliyyah (كُلِّيَّة), a beacon of enlightenment where all knowledge is sought. The themes of knowledge and light are visible here in the central courtyard, where huge Qur’anic verse adorns the white walls and the two 90m minarets symbolise these tenets.
