Due in thanks to a broken rail on a cold night in Lake Odessa I was able to get 3 night shots of CSX train D705 with a pair of SD40-2's between Plymouth and Grand Rapids. My last shot of the night was here at the Thornapple River bridge east of Grand Rapids MI. Soon the crew will arrive into Wyoming and finally be able to head home. This was a shot I always had in mind but had a feeling it would be very difficult to do with my Yongnuo flashes but since I was in the area I figured why not and it turned out quite well in my opinion. eastbounds will be a bit harder but that is for another night.
