Pacing some Electrics
With very little expectation of a day time train running on a Wednesday as it was normally a work day I was in no hurry to get to the BMLP from Globe but to make sure no train was running I set a course for the coal mine. Shortly after passing cow springs I came upon a work crew regulating and tamping so I really didn't expect to stumble onto any trains but I pressed east to look at photo locations and as I neared the mine I could see this loaded coal train leaving the mine in Kayenta and the chase was on. Nearing Shonto I took the chance to do some pacing with the nice side lit high sun as the train screamed west to Page.
