Scott Falls
The subtle Scott falls are located just east of the small town of Au Train Michigan on Michigan highway 28. This gentle and small falls can be easily missed when passing through the area as if you didn't know it was there and didn't see the little sign to pull off you would just think it is another rock cut along the highway. I haven't seen or visited a lot of water falls in my life yet but if I had to envision the most soothing and gentle falls I could ever think of this would be it. There is no large amounts of water there is no massive rocky drop off, just a 10-15 foot difference from the top to the soft sandy bottom with a small creek that flows over the edge into a small pond that empties into Lake Michigan on the north side of the M28.
To the railfans out there, the former DSSA, later SOO and WC mainline ran just over the top of the hill and crossed over the creek as well.
