Magyar Államvasutak (MÁV, Hungarian State Railways) Class V63 no. 051 (Ganz, 1974-1988) is resting outside Budapest Nyugati pályaudvar. These 6-axle, 4,800 hp beasts - appropriately nicknamed "Gigant" - were built to haul heavy freight and passenger trains, and are the most powerful type of locomotive made in Hungary.
