Expecto Patronum
-----------------------------------------
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Moc: Expecto Patronum
October 2021
----------------------------------------
The Expecto Patronum scene takes place at the end of the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
Harry tries to save Sirius Black from the Dementors's kiss.
To celebrate the 20 years of the Lego Harry Potter, and include the number 20, I wanted Harry's patronus to turn into 20, instead of the stag.
The hardest part about the MOC was to produce a dynamic scene including the attack of the Dementors, and the patronus 20 blocking them.
-----------------------------------------
From the Lego Ideas Contest:
This year we’re celebrating two decades of LEGO Harry Potter and what better way to mark that occasion than with a contest! We’re looking for a magnificently magical creative build, that celebrates everything you love about LEGO Harry Potter! To make it festive, we challenge you to include the number 20 somewhere in your build, big or small. Make sure you show us the number in one of the photos you submit in case it’s a magically hidden detail.
----------------------------------------
I made the choice to replace Potter's patronus with the 20 that the competition called for.
I hope that the purists of the Harry Potter saga will forgive me for this infamy
