Morning Routine

Our Morning Routine has drastically changed this past week. My 6 year old twins wouldn't stop fighting. They fought with each other about everything - even who should have some time to talk. After I left for school - they would scream at each other while my aunt waited to put them on the bus.

 

I took their toys. All of them. Every single one. All toys, all stuffed animals, all markers, coloring books, puzzles.... everything.

 

The only options they have left:

Read a book

Draw something on blank paper - they have 1 pack of crayons to share.

 

If they fight, I throw away a toy. (I've thrown away 4) and if they can be kind to each other - they get one. They each have earned back one toy.

 

So... there is our old morning routine - and our new one.
