The extended Nebula surrounding NGC 6193 in H Alpha

Nebulosity extends for many light years surrounding the fantastic shapes sculpted by stellar winds and radiation from massive young stars of the Ara OB1 association, about 4000 light years away.

This is a four panel mosaic imaged in the wavelength of Hydrogen Alpha- 3 hours of integration per panel for a total of 12 hours

Most images of this region focus on the so called " Fighting Dragons" - and the “ cosmic egg”-but this widefield shows that there is a lot more nebulosity surrounding these well known features
