deconstruction of the picture plane in a different sense, by only ‘analysing’ chosen parts of an image. I took viewfinder segments of an object like a pepper or onion and examined just these, manipulating what the viewer sees. In a way this was deconstructing how we usually see the object and forcing us to decipher the unfamiliar marks.
