Das Kloster Chorin ist eines der großartigsten und ältesten Bauwerke der norddeutschen Backsteingotik und in einer reizvollen Waldlandschaft gelegen.
Das Zisterzienserkloster entstand um 1270 bis 1300. Es weist noch romanische und einige orientalische Bauelemente auf, wurde dann aber vorwiegend im Stil der Backsteingotik vollendet.
The Chorin Monastery is one of the greatest and oldest buildings of North German brick Gothic and is situated in a charming forest landscape.
The Cistercian monastery was built around 1270 to 1300. It still has Romanesque and a few oriental building elements, but was then mainly completed in the brick Gothic style.
