Religion is like taking a shit.

The transgender issue is just one of many that are involved in these anti Gay bills that are being proposed in some states. The 'give them an inch and they'll take a mile' saying applies, in my opinion, to these particular bills that states have or are contemplating passing. At its core is legalized discrimination against LGBT people as a whole. If one is in business, serving the public, then religious views need to be put on the back burner when you are open to serve. If a business cannot deal with that, then it would be best to open your business in your church or not have a business at all. Being Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual or Transgender has absolutely nothing to do with religion. It has everything to do with Biology. But I know almost any word that ends in ‘ology’ is totally foreign to many discriminatory and prejudiced people. To me, no matter how much the governor of North Carolina, or any other state that decides to ‘protect’ their “religious right”, loudly protests that the bills are not meant to discriminate, discrimination will only be encouraged and nourished by them.
