LEGO Blade Runner 2049: Rick Deckard
Third figure for this series, yeah! I just new I had to do a version of my childhood idol in the form of LEGO (Indiana Jones probably coming too), And I got to say that this figure was really fun to make.
For his hair I painted it in a grey colour.
The head was filly painted (except the eyes) and I tried to base myself on LEGO's TFA Han Solo and Harrison Ford as well and I think that it turned out really great.
The torso is a simple grey t shirt with some wrinkles and I gave him a 3D shirt using E-Tape for the first time.
The right arm is based on an action figure from the movie where he has the sleeve rolled up and I also used the tape to accentuate that.
I painted a brown belt using silver for the buckle his trousers are plain dark sand with some brown shoes.
Finally the piston, I had quite a lot of work crafting the LAPD Blade Runner blaster, but using different lego parts that were sanded, cut and glued together, I was able to assemble something that looks pretty much like the pistol. I then painted it in an orange-ish brown for the handle and different shades of silver.
