37116 - 3Z10 - Syston Bypass - 18/5/16

'Colas Railfreight' temperamental Class 37 No. 37116 is seen powering towards Melton Mowbray passing the gallery of photographers stood on the Syston Bypass bridge whilst working 3Z10, Derby R.T.C. (Network Rail) to Old Dalby on the glorious morning of the 16/5/16 with a nicely loaded test train formed of 2 test units. After arrival at Old Dalby, the train would return back to Derby 48 hours later following test system calibration at the Old Dalby test facility.
