MONTPELIER & BARRE RAILROAD EMD SW-1 DIESEL #27 - BERLIN CORNERS, NEAR BARRE, VERMONT - JULY 27, 1977

We have this nice looking bright red SW-1 for a "Second Section, Switcher Sunday" posting. It was one of two SW-1's that the M&B owned, and it survives at the Connecticut Railroad Museum. There it has been restored to wearing the paint of it's original owner, Boston & Maine, and is numbered back to B&M #1109.
