Completed pond makeover
A week ago I decided it was time to clear the area around the pond and replace the fountain, which hadn't worked properly for a couple of months.
Lots of plants were pulled up, a "picket fence" put in place to hold back other plants, and a gravel path laid.
It required new electrics wiring down to the pond and a double socket fitting, as this fountain and pump has an underwater light that needs its own power!
All went well, except Thursday, when I overbalanced whilst trying to remove a rock that had fallen in, and I fell in!
It is about four foot at the deepest end, so a good soaking was had!
