Lower Caldron Linn, Annet Burn

I find listening to the cricket on BBC Test Match Special very relaxing. I find hanging about pools below waterfalls in my wellies taking LE photos very relaxing. Today I was lucky enough to combine both! My wife very kindly allowed me to indulge both passions while she and the children hung out at a farm park near Doune. If England hadn't been thrashed in the cricket it would have been near perfect...

This is the lower of the two falls on the Annet Burn near Doune marked as Caldron Linn on the OS.

The fall here is c4m high and comes at the end of a 200m shallow gorge whose upper limit begins with a similar fall.
