I spent Saturday night camping in a quiet, remote spot in my local hills The Campsie Fells with my 2 older children & a friend and his boy. The midges weren't great but midge hoods, repellent & a good fire took care of them. The trip was magic. This photo was taken around midnight as we all turned in. Best of all was the wonderful sound of snipe thrumming over the moorland as I stood there.
