Entanglements
Music has always been vitally important to me, perhaps because I have been surrounded with it since birth. My parents are both very musical and pour their talent in to their faith, and I've probably had more experience with live music than the average person. But it was all christian, all church, all prayer meetings. Is this something I would change? I don't think so. Sometimes, the music I experienced was transcendent.
There is no replacement for joining your voice with others, as one, entangled together in the beauty, the emotion, the purity of feeling. I don't think I could go back, not in the same way.

This and the pictures posted over the next few days are an exploration of our past that has forced us to confront some difficult truths.
