Eoghan Corry and Eric Finley, who guided Tourism South delegates through Alabama's Africatown, the only surviving community in the US founded by Africans. It was founded by descendants of some of the enslaved people aboard the Clotilda, the illegal slave ship that entered the USA by way of Mobile Bay and brought the last slaves to the USA. Once freed after the American Civil War, they formed Africatown, near the location they first arrived on USA soil.
