Today's Look
Exciting news ladies. We're experimenting with an entirely new look, even a new skin. Yes; we've gone sporty (in RL Cara never gets much above water sports but that's a subject for another differently rated day.) And a new skin? Never happened before.
So let's get into it.
First the hair. I've broken a long standing rule here and gone to Doux, in this case Angeni. Why the "long standing rule"? Because all other hair attaches to the head or somewhere equally practical. Change your hair? Just press "wear" and bingo! But, as we all know, Doux attaches somewhere different, the left nipple or something, so when you press "wear" the old hair is still there.
PUHLEEASE Mr or Mrs Doux, attach the hair to the freakin head. That way you'll get the undying loyalty of real fashionastas like..... well..... me.
The Skin's Maysee Cashew from 7Deadly S(k)ins which over the years has been responsible for some quite mortal sins against pulchritude. But..... we found this one lying round in our invo, doubtlessly bought in a moment of compromised attention after an evening on the tiles. But it seems to work. What do you think, fashionistas of SL?
Eyes have been an issue for us - we've sort of settled on Ikon Hope eyes, in this case Evening. But be warned. The natives are restless and have been observed scanning every good looking set of eyes that passes. This could change
Head is LAQ, Varying daily between Gaia, Jade and Zahra. Oh, indecisiveness, they name is woman.
The shirt is Shaysel from Scandalize, Aqua which we think gives that right touch of sportiness
And yes, we got the shirt, Martina, from Seniha. Yeah, we know, you all fitted out your dozens of alts with ill-fitting freebies from Seniha, but we recommend that you go back for a second look. Lots of interesting things there, and they're finally doing stuff for Maitreya Petite addons. We like to get perky now and then and not enough designers are doing the right thing by us yet.
Glasses are nice. We normally never do Gacha but we found that these, called Blank Line Leopard, not to suffer the same sins as most gachas. After just a couple of throws of the dice, we got these in leopard and black.
We should mention the sneakers. They're dustbunny sneakers cotton. Lovely but.... There are several colors and if you buy one by one you get silly flowers sticking out of them. Yep, carnations sticking out of your sneakers. To get the non florid version you have to buy the fat pack. Now as you know, we are violently opposed to fatpacks, so our recommendation that buying this one is good value should be attended to
