The Iconic West
After we returned from Wyoming and our visit to the glorious Grand Teton National Park, we watched a DVD of "Shane," the classic 1950s western film that was shot in this area. The Tetons played a significant role in this film, much as Alan Ladd, Brandon deWilde and Jean Arthur did. This image spurs that association for me. This is truly Shane country.
