The single center of interest in this photo is the poutine located mostly on the bottom hotspots. It does not make use of the sightlines because the plate of the poutine is not placed in the proper way that allows it to be divided properly.

Depth: 3

This photo does not have much depth because the forground and midground just blend in together (the poutine) and thebackground is just the brown paper bags.

Processing: 3

I chose to process the photo this way and made the yellows show more which makes the food look better and makes the picture feel more restaurt-y. As opposed to putting cool colours it would have given off a different feeling.

Subject: 2

The subject matter is not very original and it is not exactly presented in a original way because it is just a plate of a poutine. It does represent the theme because poutine is a big part of montreal but not in a very imaginative or creative way. Something in the background hinting that it was from “la belle province” maybe would have made it a little better showing it’s from a restaurant that’s a big part of montreal.
